I wasn’t familiar with this group. In fact in my teenage years I wasn’t into the contemporary Christian singers or groups. I was into secular music. Then when I met my husband he introduced me to a whole new music world of SCB, Bryan D. and many others. I’m grateful for the “late in life discovery.” Better late than never. Boy did I miss out early on! I’m not leaving the back row. 🙂
Might have to go back in Jesus n Music and songs that didn’t get airplay to find em now but I talk about Psalm150 in a J N M episode and play another of their songs ‘God Be Magnified”
Your father was a preacher who preached about our heavenly Father. You preach in music and nutshell sermons and to everyone you meet ❤️ the smile that is a fantastic blessing !!! The Duncan’s are a legend in music and practical ministry where need be. Praise God for people like you!

US KIDS PRE-TEENS AND TEENS LOVED THOSE SONGS LIKE YOU WOUL’ND BELIEVE. MAN THE CHOIR WOULD SING ” OH HAPPY DAY” TALKIN BOUT BRINGING THE HOUSE DOWN” OH MY”! PSALM 150 SEEM LIKE THEY WOULD HAVE FIT CLOSELY TO AROUND THAT TIME PERIOD OR MAYBE JUST A LITTLE AFTERWARDS ! AS A MOTOWN BABY THE TEMPTATIONS, SUPREAMS LITTLE STEVIE WONDER WERE MY FAVES AND ANDRE CROUCH ALONG WITH WALTER HAWKINS WERE AN EASY FOLLOW UP AS FAR AS PROGRESSIVE STYLES OF MUSIC I LIKED BACK THEN ! PSALMS 150 WOULD HAVE SQUEEZED IN EASILY TO MY MUSICAL ROTATION BACK THEN ! NOW YOU GOT ME ON A HUNT TO TRY TO FIND MOST OF PSALMS 150 MUSIC SO I CAN LISTEN TO UN FAMILIAR SONGS I HAVE NEVER HEARD ! and this ain’t even my favorite song from this project.. Title track is the best.. written my Greg Eklar and James Felix.. James would join me on the road eventually .. wrote with me a song called “When I Turn TO You”
So GOOD! Looked them up on Wikipedia. Looks like 1971-76 and then reformed in 2008 with two albums recorded. An impressive line-up of group members who also went on to form other known CCM groups. However, I’m not seeing their music on Pandora or Amazon. Thanks for sharing.
My first wife used to play one in church and she did since she was a little girl. He was bad to the bone LOL we traveled and evangelized son with her dad. A lot here in the south and I was the drummer and one of the singers for 23 years.
