I love the falsetto melody I’m singin in the background at the end of the song You Traded Paradise FOR POverty.. don’t think I got closer to the good news than this project
This has always been one of my favorites. I have it in my playlist so I went back to compare.
Oh yeah! This enhanced version is great! Heralding Jesus died to bring us to God. Hallelujah what a Savior!!!

This song is my present comfort, that Jesus, God, suffered for me on this earth with all the destruction and sin we have today and sinned once! Instead He died and set me FREE of sin with the Holy Spirit, God, to be our guide on the backrow! Most of aĺl, we can NEVER BE SNATCHED AWAY!!! And THAT is my COMFORT in affliction and pain…Thank you Bryan for writing this song and album and sharing it to remind me of this in such a beautiful way ❤️

I love this song. It is special to me on so many levels. First, it represents the very first lineup of Christian music for me when I became a true believer in Jesus 37 years ago in my hometown south of Detroit Michigan. It also has incredible depth to it lyrically. To this day I continue to contemplate what is meant by “created all and laid it all on the line for me.” There is the beautiful juxtaposition of paradise and poverty, with a seeming accidental alliteration. Such beautiful Christian songs as this one contains the milk that I grew by in those early years of my faith.

It’s amazing how we seem to encounter so many different versions of our faith. One year you’re telling everyone you meet how to be saved. And the next it’s as though you shifted to a place where that kind of thing is no longer important. God must be very amused observing each of our individual stories as we walk through this world.

IT’S LIKE THIS BABY WENT TO THE BEST DRY CLEANERS IN TOWN AND THEY GOT IT LOOKING BRAND NEW ! THEY EVEN SPIT SHINED THE SHOES AND GOT THEM GLISONING AND SMILING LIKE THEY’RE ON TV ! NOW THATS THE KIND OF PERSERVATIVE THINGS TO ENHANCE WHAT ALREADY WAS THATS NEEDED FOR OLDER THINGS IN RECORDING ! KEEP THE LEGACY FRESH AND ALIVE FOR THOSE WHO COME LATER IT’S IMPORTANT ! WHO KNOWS WHO IT CAN INSPIRE IN THE FUTURE !
