Well, since you asked—-yes, I feel like I’m stuck somewhere most of the time. Great lyrics! Too bad for us you and Mickie Thomas couldn’t have made a song together of some sort. Wow, that would’ve been a powerhouse! I always liked his singing. One day we’ll know what it’s like being swept away by Christ. Can you imagine? A peace and tranquility no one can fathom. I picture an image of Christ holding out his arms welcoming me—I’m going in for a big hug! I can’t wait to see if there are concerts going on up there in Heaven. If there are, I’m sure you and the SCB will be playing. Oh, and we’ll all look like we did in our 20’s & 30’s—LOL. I’ll see you guys there but not on the back row in Heaven—up front VIP section. It’ll be awesome!
Wow this song sweeps me away! Using your emotions as themes for songs is priceless and only you. I’m familier with almost aĺl your songs and recognize by your voice and lyrics. I’ve heard them all multiple times. I always like to hear the background goings on when snd why you wrote them. I never get tired of listening to your history! I know this is all repetitive but making emphasis…Thank you for sharing them my special friend .

I actually have a very good friend who is on a psych unit. Neither he nor myself nor anyone I know has a church right now. To find a church where no one is dismissed would be a fantastic thing. but I will take this for now and count my blessings. Anyway, I have not heard this album yet. Assuming it is on YouTube, I now have a new homework assignment. As usual, I have many thoughts on all of this. Love the scripture. I’m ready for Him to come back. But more often I think in terms of the door being shut when this life is done, and I will no more be able to live this life of faith. I know I will be forgiven for not being perfect. Nonetheless, I will be remorseful at the many ways I could have given more, prayed more, loved more, etc. As I tell my end of life patients who want to die. “It will happen soon enough.” For our lives are but a vapor which appears for a short time and then vanishes away. I also frequently recall a verse that says, “A short work will God do upon this earth.”
I doubt if I could run a church with a building without dismissing someone.. not sure it’s possible but this here is the Church in the Wind.. where you are allowed to explore and question your faith aat yer own risk… we don’t have a membership drive.

B, these are things I wish more artists would elaborate on ! The what’s and why’s on their songs is so important and to have the person who wrote and sang them explain what they were going through at that time is outstanding ! I can’t speak for anyone else but I’m one of those dudes who likes to know how the sausage is made ! B the more I hear you speak on your last couple years with SCB it sounds like a brutha headed for BURNT OUT CITY ! To give and give without being appropriately refreshed and replenished gets old real fast !11 years is a long time to be in anything and feeling like you were feeling toward the last years may just been enough to cause you to want to be Swept Away To A Brighter Day ! The song was great on imagery I could see what you were saying, and it flowed nicely. B you know how to turn a phrase like nobody’s business ! BTW (My Mama didn’t care a lot for the Seinfeld show but she LOVED TO SEE KRAMER COME THROUGH THE DOOR SHE THOUGHT THAT SCENE WAS SO FUNNY !)
I LIKED KRAMER IN SEINFELD MYSELF I THOUGHT HE WAS GREAT IN PHYSICAL HUMOR AS HE INCORPERATED IT IN HIS ROUTINE ON THE SHOW . HE GOT IN TROUBLE A COUPLE OF YEARS LATER AFTER THE SHOW ENDED IN A STAND-UP ROUTINE IN WHICH HE LET A HECKLER GET THE BETTER OF HIM. UGLY SCENE BUT I CAN SAY TO HIS CREDIT HE OWNED UP TO WHAT HE DID AND SHOWED WHAT LOOKED LIKE GENUINE SORROW FOR DOING WHAT HE DID.THATS ALL ANYONE CAN ASK FOR SOMETIMES, BUT HIS CARREER NEVER REGAINED WHAT IT WAS. WHAT A SHAME !
well most main stay actors in a huge success will find it hard to shake the character .. never saw “House” again either.. member him.. guy that played Dr House..
I left a comment earlier tonight that disappeared which is a little unnerving. And I can’t remember what I said. So I will have to leave a new comment. I had given myself a homework assignment to listen to “have yourself committed.” By now I have listened to it and my very favorite song on the album is “darkness is falling.” It is accidentally awesome. By that I mean, I think when things are this great they don’t happen intentionally. Whatever is happening in this song is divine, on another level, and obviously coming from somewhere else as a lot of B.D. music is. Hopefully this comment will go through. Love the reading from revelation. I might be scared, but I will not be hiding behind a rock.

LOL Kramer was his own Nuance LOL so awkward on the show.. and so ‘normal’ in real life you’d never think of him as a humorist
