Hey BD it’s PC—I like how this song starts—sounds like “da da dum” —dramatic—catches my attention! I couldn’t help but think about my workplace while listening to this song—wanting to be swept away from there sometimes. LOL. I’m keeping it short today—not feeling up to doing much—just enjoying time with weenie girl, Millie. Thanks for sharing your insights into all your great songs!
Wow no one has ever called me Mare. Lol I get Kate a lot. IMO there are similar moments of greatness in your music. It comes from a different place. We move in the creativity and it just happens. This is what I believe so I am not overburdened by whatever greatness has been put in my possession. He is the one who chose to give it to me so he can be responsible for its outcome. This is how I have found relief for the fact that I have never even so much has made an album. ):
i figger whatever you wanna be called would be in the ID of the message LOL .. I use INitials most often MKB in yer case..
Mare… is just me bein too lazy to pronounce and it sounds endearing I think.. like some family member would use
This is a really good song. It’s amazing how many amazing songs are overlooked, and unseen. Not just yours, so many b sides. Blackwater by The Doobie Brothers was discovered by accident. I been thinking lately about the plight of artists in general and how we never will receive what many of us probably think is our due. There is actually no equivalent in fame or fortune for our artistry. So there will always be that tension. That’s why there is so much turmoil in that arena. Anyway, I love the sweep me away concept. Don’t we all feel that way? And the piano hook is really great. Now I got to go look up the lyrics. 🙂 On this album I personally was sidetracked by darkness is falling. Fell in love with that song. I can’t believe I never heard it before. I guess that’s why we listen to albums over and over again, at least we used to. Some songs just grow on us.
