  1. Wait a minute—who is not appreciating you and your efforts? I don’t like the sound of that news. Do I need to talk to these “problem” people & set them straight? The back row Nutshellians will rise up—game on! You are right that people don’t want to hear the truth. Well, this little squirrel, not Pearl, is here for you anytime. It’s probably a good thing I live clear across the country from these people giving you problems. I worked in Security at one time. If you ever need a personal bodyguard let me know. LOL. Gotta go, I need to check my blood pressure now.

    1. of course I have inserted my own personality into dozens of Co dependant types of church people I’ve come accross… I personally have none of these problems LOL

  2. Wow, another loaded message. I got some time off today and I’m seated in one of my favorite thinking spots, so here it goes. Well, first of all I discovered as a lyft driver people are mostly driven by their feelings. And I guess I’m saying that’s all there really is to it. I heard a couple from Rumson New Jersey complaining about how their home sold for only a certain million amount of dollars. I didn’t listen very closely cuz I’m not really good at that. I’m usually consumed with my own thoughts. But they were not happy, though they were on their way to a site on the Jersey Shore where they would be spending a lot of money while impressing people with all their money. I was nice to them and made a little small talk, but they did not leave me a tip. I have discovered as a driver if I can somehow make people feel better sometimes, I’ll get a tip. Or if they come in to my car just feeling good and having a great time a lot of times I’ll get a tip. But someone who’s in a bad mood does not tip. For a Lyft driver this is important information. But I think if we’re really following God, we’re going to say things that don’t make people feel good. I’ve gotten a lot better at how I phrase things, or waiting till the right time to say them. Also, being perhaps advanced in my own spirituality, my relationships are usually about the other person and I usually don’t get anything from anyone but God himself. I’ve got to be available for them and their issues I guess. And in a lot of my relationships there’s only room for one set of issues. That’s just the way it is for now. Thank you for letting the rest of us share also, and not dismissing. 🙂

  3. lol, this is spot on. Not me, of course, it’s other people that need to hear this and be less critical of me.

    1. Beck! thought about you this week.. hadn’t heard from ya in a few days.. thought to myself.. I prolly offended her somehow.. and I never told anyone that this whole nutshell was really YOU talkin! ROFL

      1. Shhh, you weren’t supposed to tell that these nutshells were really about me. Isn’t everything about me? I mean people talk about me all the time. Of course, they do it behind my back cause they don’t want me thinking too much of myself.

  4. Wow I’m glad I listened twice to this cause first time I thought it was me! I typed it and was interrupted, came back…deleted, relistened. You really do give great advice at the end about writing too fast…slow down. Really Bryan the only thing you’re guilty of is wanting to rule the world! You mentioned that in God Really I think it was. Anyway I don’t think you’re unlikeable at all…you’re very sweet and brave. You’ve never hurt me back even when I’ve said some super bad things. No one’s ever had that much patience…that’s why you’ll always be my special friend ❤️!

  5. Sometimes B it’s not the ones that don’t like you need to worry about, its the ones that say they do like you that you better keep your eyes on !

  6. Good one, Bryan! Puts me in mind of an old Jeremiah People sketch titled “The Prayer Meeting”. The JP writers were masters of sarcasm.
