I love hearing the lyrics again. Listening to them over and over is a way to keep reminding us to take heart and know that God is right there to take us to the promised land as He promised. I love hearing how you came up with different songs and the inspiration behind them. I’ve written maybe five poems and would love to write more, but I haven’t taken the time just to sit and even write notes. Which I think I might start doing again. Anyway, thanks for sharing.

Bryan it’s so awesome the way you wrote such meaningful songs when you were so young! It’s amazing how at the age of 73, I can identify with the emotions they are about. This one in particular. I feel like God’s hands are leading and shelter me to higher ground. The song gives encouragement for redemption and rehab, that there’s a better place for us, and He’ll take us there. I feel peaceful with His mercy and love. Thank you for sharing and writing this song my special friend ❤️. It’s also nice to hear I’m never dismissed too!

We could take all the songs in your large catalog , and pick lines in each song starting from beginning and create a Book, or devotional book,

Oh Wow B, this one right here gets in my Hall of Fame of B-dunc songs. I throughout the years have made recordings where I put my favorite songs of yours on a tape or CD. This song always made the cut after it came out. This is a special song to me because of its lyrics always painted a beautiful picture of the Lord helping us through whatever we’re going through and to trust Him, He won’t let us down. Powerfully soothing and uplifting in ways like your song “You don’t leave Me Lonely”. I would love to hear you sing those two songs in a concert one day it truly will do something good in the hearts to those who hear it. Now you done done it again I know you gonna play the song tomorrow but I got to go play it right now and Lord willing get to be blessed again to hear it tomorrow !
Straight from the heart. Life experiences do provide the best sources for storytelling in song. I came out of listening to the lyrics that I am never alone no matter what. My Good Shepherd and I make a brilliant team together, in His own eyes. Taking comfort from that. Even at the water’s edge, His invitation comes, “Son, I’ve got this. Come, take My Hand. Let’s walk on this water to the other side. Together, we will get there”……..so you have encouraged very well here Mr D. Keep writing these little darts to each heart.
