Many times I say, I love this album and song. The song is to me a quiet plea for God’s grace when it feels like there’s no hope left. Saying that He didn’t put us here without a way to succeed is so comforting. Your screaming at the crescendo at the end is your affirmation of a miracle ✨️.

I’m dealing with a headache this morning after the work week drudgeries and as I’m listening to this song, you’re a better healer than Tylenol, Bryan D. Thank you and great song!
I don’t know bout anybody else, but this song right here did not get the airplay it deserved. I know that people have their different taste of music and types of music they like and I’m super ok with that but this one right here is special. If given a chance to be played modestly back in the day, I’m certain it would have made a greater impact than the record label would or could have believed. Sometimes it’s hard to understand why the big Record Comp Execs don’t get it but then I remember they may not be all that enthused about something that can truly bless someone internally all they want in the end is the thing the O’JAYS sung in one of their songs .You know how it went (the 4 M’s)- MONEY,MONEY ECT….. Sometimes a record company has got to do more then ship the music to the bookstores . Finding ways to get the music to the radio to be played should never be a just a good attempt it has to be a GREAT ATTEMPT especially back in the day. The Artis did their part so now I’m looking at the record company now to do their part just a little bit better! It always grates on me to see Many artis today not get their Flowers so to speak for all the great work they have done and the ton of work that will go unnoticed because of lack of discernment of great material by Record Exec’s!
even besides money .. if you take yer ten best songs of all time.. but yu need to put yer best representation there for the money spent.. there’ll have to be 1 winner and 9 losers!
Now that’s truly disheartening but I guess that’s the nature of the music business! I see why That Rapper Master P Did what he did in his launching of his music career. He basically out hustled the record labels early on getting his initial stuff recorded I believe in not the best high-priced studios. He got it done taking his recordings and selling them out of back of the trunk of his car. He cut out the middleman by being the whole ball of wax recording, distributing and performing his music himself ! This was indeed difficult but he managed to build his career to own his own record company and turn it to a multi million dollar rap empire . He never had to worry about the record companies passing over his stuff and getting over on him. He did it the tougher way but I guess he felt to truly get out what he truly believe was his out of the music business he had to go like the Frank Sinatra song- and HE DID IT HIS WAY !
