No Jesus was not a pacifist. He overturned the money changers in the temple and blocked other vial behavior against His father. Yes he was a man of peace though the world isn’t a peaceful place. He preached and fought for peace and sanctified living in the midst of impossible cruelty and died a treacherous death for no crime to teach us He loved us even though we were broken and how to love others the same.

At least you’re not alone. I don’t know where to start or how to end either sometimes. I saw this saying recently: “Walking by Faith, Tripping Constantly”. I’m loving that—it’s so true, at least for me. We Nutshellians are never dismissed.

As your do diligent back row friend I looked up the definition of “Pacifist” – that states “someone who opposes war or violence as a means of settling disputes” well Jesus Christ was being a living witness on how humans to reverence God, love one another, how to deal with judging people that the world dismiss as less than, how to serve one another to better the circumstances not just of the people that needs help but also of the blessings that one’s spirit receives. I was always taught to seek a better way to resolve conflicts. Now of course the whataboutism when Jesus overturned the tables in the temple’s market – is about the only angry temper behavior we read about regarding Jesus Christ. First & foremost it is known as Righteous Anger that I was taught as humans we Do Not have that ability to see ALL sides & actions but I thought Jesus Christ was declaring his relationship with God as His Son within the Jewish community & the priesthood leaders.
After saying all the yes, Jesus Christ is a Pacifist but He is also a Warrior as it’s stated in Revelations Jesus Christ returns is Him fighting for his kingdom on earth and His people.
main reason to follow Jesus is to know God.. he can come down on either side of situations and right when think we know!
