ROFL…yes this message came home right to my den tonight. I was thinking today about all the corruption and corrupt people causing it. It’s like a special Bible believing group with their own interpretations. To prove my point, some of the fat cats can’t read…they say books give their own messages and since every person reading is different,..I mean WOW…like are they really reading…? Some say they’re reading for ______. To make it worse, they were taught to have their own opinions and critiques. Writers have the responsibility of getting closure from their thoughts too. Oscar Wilde said There are no good or bad books, only written well or not. Naturally, people think Oscar was a flake due to lifestyle despite he revolutionized the English language in 1895! He may have been a sinner, but he was brilliant, working hard at his craft. WRITING!
Oh yeah. I run from authority. God gives us the leaders we deserve. And yeah with everything going on on a leader woth no scruples can do the things that need to be done evidently. Your little jingle reminds me of kacy kasem top 40.
Yes, why didn’t God put you in charge down here? LOL. The older I get it seems I’m seeing more evil-doers. It’s sad. I hope they eventually will find Christ somehow.
Sometimes when I’m talking to, or praying with, someone who is in a situation that is too overwhelming, or looking straight at a matter that is too hard to take, I recall that we are in actuality in the middle of a beautiful story, with high and lows and unexpected turns of fate. Increasing ones faith that God is in charge and all knowing seems like the best remedy to help one to learn to just go along with it all every day, and with gratitude. Did you ever consider that God knew about AI, data centers, detention centers, and whatever is coming next, as far back as the OT prophets? I sometimes think it would be interesting for a youth group to put on a skit where Jesus is talking to a group of people and then excuses himself to retreat into a tent alone where he can look things up on the internet, or play World of Warcraft or something. He is not surprised by all this stuff which keeps us on the edge of our seats. At least life is not boring. That would be the worst.
Bryan I used the wrong word…the word is ILLITERATE. Just so you know, some educated people, even teachers are. They’re so fascinated by the story, they believe it’s true! Like sci-fi? Lol
Hahaha…I’m having so much fun tonight with this . Please don’t dismiss me Bryan, this is the medicine I need!! My roommate in 2001 on a class trip across the pond, gave a book report on a sci-fi writer. She interviewed him, and said it went very well and she learned alot, only he couldn’t answer one of her questions about the plot. He told her gently, it’s because he made it up.He wanted to know her a little better and they had a conversation.. she was a grad student, and taught English 2nd language and studied English literature and film. Personally I think she taught me something. I’m hoping she was successful in life…I met my BFF on that trip and it wasn’t her. My BFF and I have practically nothing in common except the want and need of a lifetime friendship. We live 2000 miles apart, and talk, chat, cards, letters, gifts and done it for 25 years!! We’re both Christian and she’s 15 years younger. We know the secret of staying bffs…Never criticize each other!!
